About PVA

PVA is a local association formed in 2019 in response to and with a focus on addressing increasing traffic/congestion and development issues, as well as transit related issues, in the Pleasant View neighborhood.

PVA does this by informing interested community members through email about changes proposed by the city or province, and making them aware of opportunities to have a say.

As well, PVA makes in-person and virtual deputations, writes letters, communicates and/or meeting with various municipal and provincial officials, including Councils and Boards, attends open houses and workshops, and works with other community associations.

Examples of issues engaged in are the Sheppard Subway East extension, challenging increased condo density and new developments without supporting infrastructure, and changes to roadways that may increase congestion.

To be get in touch with or be added to PVA's email list, contact them directly at pleasantviewcommunity@gmail.com. Emails are sent as issues or events arise.
